Gallagher Technology Services (GTS) provides and maintains quality, value-added core and common applications and information management solutions to enable the business strategies of Gallagher and its operating divisions. Sr. Data Architect should have working understanding and application of dimensional modeling techniques and methodologies and will need to support data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery is consistent throughout ongoing projects. Essential responsibilities include participating in analysis sessions with the user community to capture data requirements clearly, completely and correctly, include identifying, analyzing and translating business requirements into logical and physical database design and final data product. Successful candidate delivers data modeling and data profiling services to the BI / DW projects from the requirements through design, development, test and implementation. Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Users to support their data requirements and design efficient, scalable data architecture solutions that evolve with business needs following Agile environment methodology Engage in detailed analysis sessions with the user community to accurately capture data requirements and translate them into effective data models Work closely with data architects and data engineers to enhance the functionality of our data ecosystem. Develop and maintain dimensional physical data models using data modeling tools Establish and implement best practices in data architecture, data warehousing, ETL/data integration, data engineering and advanced analytics Create, review and communicate the Source-to-Target mapping across bronze, silver and gold medallion architecture layers Conduct Data analysis/profiling and discovery using SQL; identify and document data integration challenges, including duplicate data, non-conformed data, and unclean data About You
Over 10 years of experience in Data Architecture with a strong background in Enterprise Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Extensive familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, Sql Server, or similar technologies Proficient with SQL, with ability to write and comprehend complex queries involving multiple CTEs, joins, window functions and embedded logic Experience with Data Modeling tools such as ERWin, Power Designer and capable of creating DDL statements Strong technical understanding of dimensional database design concepts, including common patterns for storing, integrating, cleansing, transforming and structuring data, Exceptional attention to detail; ability to deliver high-quality work on time while managing multiple, competing priorities with minimal supervision #LI-NP1 #APIntegration Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
