Responsibilities
Communicate effectively and regularly with Real Estate agents, Loan officers, and clients Conduct all phases of the Title process through Closing Utilize technical skills to interact through Social media/the Internet, and Internet/E-recording Validate and verify all financial and remote communication Prepare title abstract and title opinion after conducting a title search Check for real estate title defects after conducting property search for title issues such as liens, claims, deeds, wills, mortgages, or fraud Examine maps, liens, judgments, leases, agreements, public records, contracts, surveys, and plat books to verify legal description, ownership, and restrictions Record all legal documents at the county and federal level and present deed to new owners Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will be Personable and Positive with a can-do Attitude 3 years plus of Title experience and interaction with Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers Meet State Licensing requirements- Title Producers license and Notary Requires 3-5 years of title closing experience, abstractor, title examiner, or closing services experience Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite High school diploma required -- college degree preferred State license requirements must be met for this position --title producers license is a bonus
