Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all employees and preparing for Joint Commission inspections. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Work alongside a team of facilities staff.

Prepare for inspections and maintain Joint Commission standards

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and timelines.

Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.

Skills and Requirements

1+ year of experience in facilities work and maintenance

Comfortable speaking with vendors and contracting companies to coordinate the completion of projects

Ability to lift 25+ lbs and be standing/walking for the duration of the day

Familiar with Joint Commission standards and preparing for upcoming inspections

Great communication skills and ability to collaborate with a small team

High School Diploma or GED
