Position Description
We have an immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL OTR Truck Driver who is ready to join our team. At Ryder, we believe in supporting our drivers with a transparent pay structure and an empowering work environment.
Wondering what your paycheck will look like? Expect to earn over $1500 a week, with additional benefits that include:
Weekly Pay
Hourly Rate: $30.00
48+ hours of work per week
Per Diem: $50.00 per night (for 1-2 nights weekly)
Paid Training
Schedule: Monday to Saturday
Start Time: Dispatch Between Midnight and 5:00 AM
Join us and experience:
Regional deliveries to IA, KS, MO, IL, NE, SD, and ND
Routes that involve 1-3 nights away per week
Tractor Type: Sleeper Cab
Trailer Type: 53' Dry Van
Handling Touch Freight (Driver unload only)
Our modern fleet consists of trucks that are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. You’ll enjoy fueling up at over 800 facilities nationwide.

Requirements
Minimum age of 21 years
Pass a drug test
Background and motor vehicle check
DOT physical clearance
Successful completion of a road test
Possess a valid CDL and necessary endorsements
Class A driving experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
Ability to follow instructions and apply regulations
Responsibilities
Comply with federal and state regulations
Identify and mitigate safety hazards
Maintain accurate records and logs
Assist in loading/unloading freight as required
Perform other assigned duties
