Business Change Director

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Business Change Director- Payment Integrity is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. How you will make an impact: May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit within Payment Integrity, ensuring activities are aligned with corporate strategy. Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data, with a focus on payment accuracy, claims validation, and audit readiness. Leads efforts to identify best practices. Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs, including those unique to payment integrity and claims operations. Designs methods for integrating functions and processes, especially where claims adjudication, provider billing, and fraud/waste/abuse prevention intersect. Conducts cost/benefit analyses to evaluate payment integrity initiatives, technology investments, and process improvements. Builds support for business change throughout the business unit, emphasizing compliance, accuracy, and member/provider trust. Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise wide initiatives, with practical applications in payment integrity programs. Leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit, aligning payment integrity initiatives with enterprise value drivers. Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities, including embedding payment integrity as part of the organizational mindset. Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities, ensuring payment integrity goals are represented in enterprise planning cycles. Supports the execution of the operating plan with specific attention to payment integrity objectives, compliance requirements and efficiency gains. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: Payment Integrity knowledge and experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred. Process Improvement experience strongly preferred. Masters degree preferred. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred. Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $123,288 to $184,932.
