Forklift Battery Technician

The Ultra Care Technician is responsible for watering, cleaning, conducting minor repairs, and maintaining electric batteries and battery chargers in a timely and efficient manner while providing outstanding customer service. The applicant will be working with little to no direct supervision; therefore, they need to demonstrate honesty, dependability, time management, and critical decision-making abilities. Responsibilities: Perform duties effectively, including filling out work orders accurately. Convey information professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Operate and maintain a company vehicle, including inventory management. Drive company vehicles safely and courteously. Maintain communication with Service and Management regarding customer issues. Manage and account for all company property. Maintain a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. Practice safety and good housekeeping at customer sites, representing Motive Energy professionally. Wear PPE as required; PPE will be provided. Use shop and hand tools effectively. Possess forklift experience and/or certification. Identify problems and determine necessary repairs. Apply critical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. Handle difficult situations positively. Prioritize and multitask between service calls. Be detail-oriented in administrative tasks and paperwork.
