About The Role
Were seeking an inspiring and strategic
Director, Education
to lead high-quality educational programs and inclusion practices across our Head Start classrooms. In this role, youll partner with national and local leaders to ensure fidelity to our proven model, strengthen family engagement, and ensure every child including those with developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral needs thrives from day one. You will oversee Early Learning Specialists and Center Directors, guiding them to excellence through data-driven decision-making, innovative professional development, and differentiated coaching. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic planning and operational oversight for education and inclusion services within your delegate. Ensure program alignment with Acelero Learnings School Readiness goals and Positive Behavioral Supports Pyramid model. Oversee and coach education leaders to deliver high-quality, inclusive early learning experiences. Collaborate with service area leaders and community partners to strengthen family engagement, dual language learning, and inclusion practices. Use data from CLASS observations, assessments, and staff rubrics to drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and state/local licensing.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (with at least 6 ECE courses); Masters degree preferred. 3+ years of experience supervising, coaching, and motivating educators and education leaders. Background in Special Education/Inclusion and bilingual education expertise. Proven success in program management, data-driven decision-making, and implementing innovative practices. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse communities.

When: Fall 2025 Where: Delaware How Much: $75,000-85,000 Annually + Comprehensive Benefits Package
