Linux Operating System Specialist

Looking for a candidate with deep knowledge of the Linux Operating systems including device drivers and Linux crash analysis tools. The job requires a solid understanding of PCIe subsystems and ARM, x86 and GPU architectures. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in debugging system level issues in firmware and hardware analyzing system crashes and boot flows to identify problems and including Linux system administrator skills. Responsibilities

5+ years of experience in the Linux operating system, including working knowledge of analyzing OS crash dumps and debugging HW related problems during system bring up Solid experience in C/Go/Java land programming. Good working knowledge of X86 and ARM assembler a plus. Experience with GPU architectures including configuring systems for cluster testing, using GPU system software tools for performance analysis and debugging GPU related issues. Solid understanding of IB/ROCE RDMA NICs and NVIDIA Mellanox technologies Solid understanding of PCIe subsystem in Linux, including AER, DPC and other RAS features including debugging problems in these subsystems Good understanding of system bring-up flow including code flow in the Firmware and hand-off and the booting of Linux Experience with scripting tools such as bash and python a plus Proven experience working with CPU and GPU vendors a strong plus Disclaimer: Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
