Overview
Venture Global LNG is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The companys Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Globals modular, mid-scale plant design aims to deliver efficiency and operational reliability at a lower capital cost. Responsibilities
Deliver an enterprise-level cybersecurity program. Develop reference architectures to solve common requirements or mitigate security findings in a repeatable way, following best practices. Lead threat modeling and partner with technical delivery teams to integrate security requirements into solutions. Drive security architecture reviews of platforms and applications in complex multi-tenant, multi-provider, and vendor-cloud environments. Deliver strategic roadmaps and research new ways to deliver security as code, automation, and service delivery optimizations. Collaborate with IT teams to monitor progress on strategic platform initiatives, oversee architecture reviews, and promptly address critical issues that may create risk. Ensure assessments are documented and performed to produce consistent, high-quality deliverables. Maintain technical proficiency and relevant certifications for core products and solution areas. Design and implement security solutions for cloud-based systems, including IAM, network security, data protection, DevSecOps, and compliance (preferred). Experience designing and implementing NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP Moderate/High controls (required). Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, controls, policies, encryption, authentication, authorization, and audit capabilities. Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, or management information systems. 10+ years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions at an energy facility or related industry. Preferred industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSK, CISA, CISM, CEH). Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security risk assessments and related frameworks (e.g., NIST 800 series, ISO 27000 series, IT General Controls). Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), cryptography/key management, access controls, security protocols (e.g., MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC). Strong knowledge of Azure/AWS infrastructure services. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and system design skills.
