What You'll Do As a Maintenance Tech II, you'll be part of our Distribution Center team located in Northlake, TX. You'll get to: Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of equipment; prioritize, schedule, assign and coordinate the work of assigned staff to accomplish a wide variety of duties related to the building Operate a variety of equipment and machines including saws, drill presses and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work; maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean and proper work condition Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and fixtures; trouble shoot to repair or replace fans and motors; perform repairs to motors, bells, clocks and lighting circuits and to communicate on audio visual equipment Perform a variety of skilled building maintenance including reports to doors, windows, roofs and other building parts, construct or assemble furniture and other wood and metal structures; install and maintain grand master lock systems and electrical security systems Perform preventive maintenance work Coordinate electrical repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits, and applicants; repairs and replaces lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions; maintains and regularly test working condition of safety equipment including fire alarm, emergency lighting, and intercom systems Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure Ensure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements Who You Are You always strive to do a good job but wouldn't it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
