Clean Harbors is seeking a highly experienced

Senior Environmental Compliance Manager

to oversee environmental regulatory operations at one of our hazardous waste incineration facilities. This role is ideal for a compliance leader who thrives in high-stakes environments, values operational collaboration, and is committed to driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations at a high-profile hazardous waste incineration facility.

Partner closely with operations teams to integrate compliance into daily workflows and drive continuous improvement.

Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective action planning.

Manage environmental permits, renewals, and reporting schedules.

Develop and deliver site-specific environmental plans and training programs.

Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, and external auditors.

Respond to incidents and ensure timely reporting and resolution.

Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adjust compliance strategies.

Provide expert guidance to internal teams and customers on environmental regulations.

Minimal travel

required-this role is primarily site-based.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (required).

5+ years

of environmental compliance experience, ideally in hazardous waste incineration or similar high-risk industrial settings.

Strong knowledge of

EPA and TCEQ regulations

, with focus on hazardous waste management and air regulations.

Proven ability to collaborate across departments and engage with customers.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Experience managing inspections and working directly with regulatory agencies
