Clinical Pathologist
to join a leading clinical research organization committed to advancing diagnostic medicine. This is a
hybrid
role, requiring
3 days onsite in Farmingdale, NY . This
full-time
position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge clinical pathology services within a collaborative and innovative laboratory environment.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Pathologist include:
Perform expert diagnostic evaluations in clinical pathology, including interpretation of laboratory data and oversight of testing methodologies Collaborate with research and clinical teams to provide pathology insights that support diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic development Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards across clinical laboratory operations Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement in laboratory practices Participate in clinical chemistry and pathology reviews, supporting both routine and specialized testing protocols Qualifications for the Clinical Pathologist include:
MD or DO with board certification in Clinical Pathology (American Board of Pathology) or Clinical Chemistry certification Eligible for or holding a New York state medical license Strong foundation in anatomic pathology; fellowship training welcome Open to candidates coming directly out of fellowship who meet core qualifications Background in hospital or industry settings acceptable; management experience not required Compensation for the Clinical Pathologist:
Salary Range:
$275,000/year - $325,000/year based on experience Comprehensive Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
