What You’ll Do
Responsible for ensuring commercial and business loans originate in compliance with Member Business Loan Policy, as well as state and federal lending guidelines. This position performs a variety of tasks in processing and closing including prepping closing files, coordination with third party vendors and member service.
Core Contributions
Prepare file for underwriting, create loan checklist, review all submitted documentation from members for accuracy (analyze lease(s) to rent roll, verifying liquidity on personal financial statements), coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of requested reports, order and review of personal and business due diligence reports, organize electronic files. Engage outside legal counsel, analyze Credit Approval Memorandum for approved loan structure, work collaboratively with underwriting, legal counsel and Relationship Manager to clear closing conditions, maintain closing calendar, communicate with internal and external parties regarding closing status, prepare closing and boarding checklists and prepare loan documents for non-real estate secured loans. Calculate, confirm, and send wires, review closing statements, checks and loan docs prior to funding, coordinate with legal counsel to facilitate funding. Manage pipeline updates, ensure transactions are closed in compliance with the Member Business Loan Policy and governing regulations, perform quality control reviews of each completed loan file, maintain complete electronic and physical loan file, including all digital and wet signature documents provided by legal counsel and coordinate off-premises storage. Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned such as; cause third party bills to be paid, update and maintain third party vendor list, reconcile GL with accounting, file closed/denied/withdrawn files and issue refund checks, notarize documents, HMDA & 1071 compliance reporting. Associate’s Degree. 1-4 years of experience. Experience using Microsoft Office. The estimated salary for the role is $25.72 - $30.22 per hour.
