We have an immediate opening for a
Civil/Environmental Engineer
(BS or MS in Civil Engineering required) with an interest in civil, water resources, environmental, geotechnical, and/or transportation engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines-planning, design, permitting, and construction-while contributing to impactful infrastructure and environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and lead civil and environmental engineering design tasks. Develop engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages. Lead or assist with project development, proposals, and client interactions. Conduct permitting with state, EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other agencies. Oversee construction administration, including site inspections, QA/QC, contractor pay application review, and field reporting. Support surveying activities to collect and stake project data. Provide mentorship and quality oversight for associate engineers and design staff. Utilize
AutoCAD Civil3D
to prepare technical drawings and designs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional engineering standards. Qualifications
BS or MS in Civil Engineering
(required). Professional Engineer (PE) license
in Montana and/or Wyoming required. 6-15 years of experience in civil engineering. Experience in project management a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed. What We're Looking For
