This role will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives to configure rules and capabilities in the FAST (Verisk) system. The configuration will support Life Insurance and Annuity Policy Administration systems from implementation through periodic changes & updates. You will collaborate with other teams on the agile release train and surrounding stakeholders to understand product(s) capabilities and operational needs. You will also provide expertise in system functionality to accommodate business requirements. Collaborates closely with business and surrounding teams to develop in-depth understanding of insurance/annuity product features & requirements and determine appropriate approach to configure & implement functionality in applicable system(s). Performs moderate to complex system configuration as part of story implementation. Facilitates and manages discussions with insurance/annuity operational teams regarding business functionality and/or product rules. Identifies gaps between product requirements and system solutions; proposes ideas to address these issues. Leads development of testing plans and conducting testing, leveraging automated testing functionality within applicable system(s). Liaises with testing resources to ensure configuration logic functions as per specifications; discusses options to resolve defects uncovered during testing. Regularly assesses progress against commitments; re-forecasts story & feature steps/variables as necessary throughout sprint and PI. Triages defects and requests, providing well defined stories to system vendor when requirements are not Lincoln configurable. Develops & continuously improves platform configuration processes to fully utilize functionality and flexibility of system(s). Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions. Evaluates trends in data or information. Must haves: 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) 5 7+ years' experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry preferably with 2+ years in Life Insurance and Policy Administration systems Experience with Object-oriented and/or Componentization concepts Nice to haves: FAST Platform knowledge (Verisk) XSLT/XML knowledge Applications for this position will be accepted through October 31, 2025, subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
