Job Summary

The purpose of the Solutions Project Manager is to lead multiple solution-focused projects (e.g. operational - and/or technical-focused) simultaneously (projects may vary in number, discipline, size and complexity) from initiation to delivery and benefits realization with guidance and supervision. Monitors dependencies across projects (including integrating vendor tasks and tracking) and responsible for providing analysis, forecasting, and modeling utilizing the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool, to align resource requirements within the projects. Applies practical knowledge in project management and may direct the work team members (or external parties) manage on the projects. Accountable for providing project management leadership by developing detailed project plans through planning and managing all implementation processes including progress tracking, monitoring change control process, solution design and build, QA testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints while integrating vendor tasks, tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables (if applicable) into the plan. Helps equip the organization with Project Management training and collaborates on EPM department initiatives as requested by EPM Leadership.

Job Specific Duties: Creates and executes required project deliverables and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. In addition, creates and manages project lifecycles within PPM tool.

Creation of Project Charter, Stakeholder Register, Scope, WBS, WBS Dictionary, Project Schedule, Schedule Baseline, Communication Plan, Training Plan (if applicable), Testing Plan, Deployment Plan (if applicable), Kickoff Deck, Budget/Financial Plan, Financial Plan Baseline, Project Closure, Project Status Reports, Change Log, Change Request, Issues Log, Risk Log, Decision Log, Project Closeout Document, Lessons Learned, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational and/or IT projects. Ensures projects adhere to project management methodology standards. Manage project priority conflicts and report any issues affecting overall project delivery. May provide guidance to functional areas in development and execution of projects to manage/reduce risk and deliver projected business outcomes. Provides frequent and effective communication to the project team, Sponsor, Leadership and Organization. Establishes strong partnerships with all teams, vendors and contractors. Sets an example for project accountability and professional behavior. Supports Moffitt Cancer Center's development of project management core competencies. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics as requested by the leadership.

Identifies resource needs and coordinates allocation of resources to deliver quality standards on time and within budget.

Creation of resource management plans and budgets Develops and executes the project deliverables with the team, organizes and controls activities, and manages the team's performance of project action items, issues, risks and tasks (measures performance to baseline).

Collaborates with and supports the EPM team on departmental initiatives, process improvement, education and communication efforts.

Creation of governance, methodology, reporting, branding and training. Upholds PPMO Code of Conduct and Beliefs.

Education and Certification Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Project Management, Information Technology or equivalent. (PMP) Project Management Professional (or obtain within 12 months)

Governing Body: Project Management Institute (PMI.org)

Minimum Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years' related project management experience which must encompass:

Experience in leading technical and/or operational-focused projects. Experience working in a client or patient focused environment. Experience with information analysis, resource and capacity planning, problem solving, budgeting, team coordination, strategic planning, and quality management. Experience leading cross-functional teams. Experience within a formalized Project Management Office (PMO). Experience using an industry-standard Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.

Minimum Experience Required:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required (within 12 months). Ability to work independently and manage multiple solution-focused (e.g. operational and/or technical) projects (with limited guidance). Able to exercise independent judgment (with limited guidance) and take action on it. Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. Highly self-motivated and directed. Exceptional skills with the MS Office suite of tools: Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Experience managing and leading resources in a complex, matrixed environment. Have a demonstrated ability to communicate direction and concepts at multiple levels, from team members to senior executives. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with and influence team members at diverse levels with different backgrounds and perspectives. Must have exceptional leadership skills and display a positive, dependable, and strong work ethic. Ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances and priorities (flexible during times of change). Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Preferred Education and Certification:

Certified Prosci Change Practitioner CSM (Certified ScumMaster) ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) Preferred Experience:

Prior experience with EPIC implementation Experience in a Healthcare/Research/Cancer Center environment. Experience of Earned Value techniques and reporting. Preferred Skills/Specialized Training:

Certified Prosci Change Practitioner, Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified ScumMaster
