Coordinate and assist with CLE-related duties and tasks including but not limited to: assist Training & CLE team with all logistics of firm-sponsored CLE programs (for firm lawyers and clients), including meeting scheduling, RSVP logistics, preparation of nametags, CLE compliance tracking, and other relevant materials. Apply for CLE accreditation of firm-sponsored courses in approved jurisdictions; prepare applications for CLE credit for individual programs in other jurisdictions as needed. Award CLE credit for firm-sponsored programs, including issuing certificates of attendance as needed, entering credits in CE Manager, and reporting credit to CLE regulators. Stay abreast of CLE rule changes and related developments in all relevant jurisdictions. Prepare annual CLE reports and other statistical reports about CLE functions as required by state boards of bar evaluators for jurisdictions in which the firm maintains accreditation. Update and maintain content related to CLE on the firm intranet. Monitor the CLE Management email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Maintain on-demand resources for third party learning platforms, including PLI, Hotshot, and ABA CLE Library. Coordinate resources and logistics for programs and initiatives related to Troutman Pepper Locke YOUniversity, including but not limited to: PG Benchmarks setting level-specific expectations for various talent groups (e.g., associates and those on the firms career path); level- and skill-specific training programs; content coordination and logistics; building curriculum pathways coordinated with firmwide benchmarks to increase tailored, customized learning opportunities. Assist with coordinating resources and logistics for other firm-sponsored programs including mentoring programs and practice group trainings. Maintain key department documents including policies, rosters, intranet pages, presentations, and reports. Engage in research on market data and other subjects and routinely prepare reports in various formats (e.g., Word, PPT, Excel) to document results. Coordinate activities, programs, and initiatives to support the Director of Professional Development in the planning and execution of department-wide and team projects to support FW talent strategies. Collaborate with other teams within Legal Talent (Recruiting, Inclusion, & Coaching) as well as other firm administrative departments, including practice management, IT, marketing, and human resources. Collaborate with Legal Talent Recruiting, Inclusion, and HR on initiatives that foster an inclusive culture and promote overall engagement. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of CLE rules and regulations in multiple jurisdictions strongly preferred. Ability to exercise sound independent judgment, tact, and discretion involving sensitive and confidential matters. Flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with excellent attention to detail, even under pressure. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and correspondence. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. In-depth understanding of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Positive team player, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple assignments, and work under pressure. Education And/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support of teams or senior leadership. Legal or other professional services firm, law school, bar association, or CLE provider experience strongly preferred.
