NorthStar Energy Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Proposal Coordinator to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will support the proposal development process, helping to ensure the timely and accurate submission of project proposals to clients. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in business development, marketing, or project coordination within the energy industry. What You'll Do
When an RFP is received from a client, assign a proposal number, create a bid folder on the estimating network drive, and download all RFP bid documents for the estimators reference. Post all addendums and revisions in the bid folder. Review bid documents to determine all deliverables required for submission with the proposal. Develop a requirements matrix assigning individuals with responsibility for each deliverable. Review, format, and assemble final documents for submission to client. Work under pressure with tight time restraints due to fluctuations in estimate volume. Assist with creating marketing collateral brochures, pamphlets, presentations, etc. Assist with promotional items ordering and maintenance. Maintain folders with current employee resumes, organizational charts, Certificates of Insurance, safety data, QA/QC, and associated documents that may need to be provided with proposals and presentations.
What You'll Bring
Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred 0-3 years of experience Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Attention to detail and good grammatical skills; creative writing skills are a bonus Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Word, Excel, Adobe Artistic skills are a plus
