We’re seeking an experienced
Commercial Electrical Estimator / Project Manager
to join our team. This role is
office-based
and focused on estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and client/GC relationships — not day-to-day field supervision. You’ll prepare accurate bids and then oversee projects at the financial and administrative level to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
Our work is primarily
commercial construction
(office, retail, institutional, light industrial), with occasional specialty projects in
healthcare facilities . Experience in medical or other technically demanding environments is a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do
Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate bids and proposals.
Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value-engineering options.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
Manage projects administratively — contracts, budgets, schedules, and reporting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, clients, and vendors.
Track project progress through change orders, RFIs, invoicing, and cost reports.
Support the Commercial Foreman with timely budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
Ensure projects meet profitability goals and client expectations.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in commercial electrical estimating and/or project management.
Strong understanding of NEC, state/local codes, and construction practices.
Experience with healthcare or other specialized projects is a plus.
Proficiency in estimating software (Accubid, Planswift, ConEst, McCormick, or similar), Excel, and Bluebeam.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Journeyman or Master Electrician License .
