Join Our Team as an Estimator Specialist! We are seeking an enthusiastic Estimator Specialist who will play a crucial role in providing accurate vehicle repair estimates for our mobile on-site fleet service, focusing on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. In this position, you will prepare essential estimate paperwork, collaborate with procurement to gather parts and pricing information, and ensure our maintenance teams deliver quality work on time. Key Responsibilities: Deliver precise estimation duties using information collected from Mobile Technicians and Customers. Monitor repair progress, completion timelines, and maintain customer communication for approved estimates. Maintain detailed records of repairs and complete necessary documentation. Follow up on outstanding quotes and prioritize tasks for optimal workflow. Build and nurture positive working relationships with Estimation team members, internal stakeholders, and customers. Provide exemplary customer service on all internal and external calls. Act as a reliable advocate for customers, offering guidance on technical inquiries and general product and service questions. Review, revise existing estimates, and create new ones per customer requests and specifications. Perform job-related duties as assigned by the manager. Collect pricing information for parts from various manufacturers and vendors. Continuously improve company capabilities in Dispatching and Service Scheduling. Assist with additional duties and special projects as needed. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant experience, or any level degree/certification in a related field with 1 year experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience in service advisement, maintenance coordination, technician dispatching, or a similar Technician role. Strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with software for generating repair estimates. Demonstrated urgency and action orientation in daily tasks. Ability to manage a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities quickly as needed. Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations using various measurement units. A professional yet friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent organization and management skills, with a focus on detail and effective follow-through. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as an Estimator in a diesel vehicle service department or dealership environment. Proficiency in Mitchell One or similar systems. Compensation: The starting hourly pay rate is between $19.52 and $29.23, based on factors such as location and the candidate's qualifications. Additional compensation may be available through commission or incentives. Benefits: Employees enjoy a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off monthly, along with seven paid holidays each year. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military service, and parental leave.
