Our site safety company based in NYC is seeking a highly qualified Site Safety Manager to oversee safety measures for a project located in New York City.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid NYC DOB SSM License as well as an FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager License, and must be in good physical shape as the job requires them to be active.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary corrective actions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements as needed. Train site personnel on safety procedures and maintain accurate safety records. Serve as a liaison between the project team and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Requirements:
Valid NYC DOB SSM License and FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager License. Minimum of 3 years of experience in site safety management recommended. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NYC building codes. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition and ability to move around the site comfortably.
