Job Overview
ProSidian Seeks an Electrical Safety Oversight Specialist [DOE0135134] for Program Support on an Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent, generally located across the CONUS Richland, Washington. Supports DOE EM Hanford in a federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. We seek Electrical Safety Oversight Specialist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise ideal) to support professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position in Science, Engineering and Design Support, Construction and Operations Oversight Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - General Support Services (GSS) for the Hanford Field Office (HFO). ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. Responsibilities and Duties
Electrical Safety Oversight Specialist LOTO program oversight, NFPA 70E compliance, arc-flash labeling, investigations. Provide capabilities across physical sciences, civil/structural engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, fire protection engineering, instrumentation and control, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, nuclear engineering, work inspection, field engineering management, and construction compliance. Operations oversight including commissioning, deactivation and decommissioning, and environmental remediation (including soil and groundwater remediation, and waste and nuclear material stabilization and disposition). The role(s) are located in the Pacific Northwest Region, CONUS Richland, Washington. Initial work site address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, Washington 99354. Qualifications
Desired Qualifications 710+ years electrical safety; DOE/nuclear preferred. BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent; certifications helpful. This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the Environmental Management Sector and Electrical Safety Oversight Specialist candidates principally support Science, Engineering and Design Support, Construction and Operations Oversight Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines. Skills Required Primarily focused on assisting program and project management support in daily business activities, initiatives, and aligned with Program Support activities in Science, Engineering and Design Support, Construction and Operations Oversight Functional Area. LOTO oversight, arc-flash, procedure development. Competencies Safety mindset, communication, vigilance. Ancillary Details for the Role Maintain arc-flash labeling control program. Functional attributes: Electrical safety oversight. Job Tasks: General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office; staffing levels may vary +/-15% over the period of performance. Travel: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the CO in advance, per Federal Travel Regulations. Security Requirements: DOE clearance as indicated for work; facility clearances for personnel and subcontractors as required. Place of Performance: Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site, Richland, Washington.
