Up to 12 months Phone and in person interview required. Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade and maintain Cognos 10 BI platform in a distributed AIX environment Perform Cognos Install and upgrades to Cognos Provide configuration, architectural support & guidance for BI environment Administer Cognos BI systems on a day-to-day basis to ensure platforms meet SLAs, including installation, support, configuration and tuning Provide 24/7 support for Web Reporting issues with ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues Implement migrations, upgrades, patches and service pack implementations in all environments Maintain Cognos portal customization and implement new customizations as per business requirement Maintain application security per IBM best practices and handle access requests daily Implement proactive monitors on application and troubleshoot any performance issues Participate in quarterly disaster recovery exercises to recover application in DR site Work closely with DBA team to address performance issues related to Cognos reports and ETL modules Work with system admin and network teams to troubleshoot system level issues impacting application health Available for 24/7 support in case of severity 1 production incidents Available for off-hour/weekend support for patching and other application maintenance activities Required Skills: 6+ years of experience in Cognos administration Ability to manage and drive third parties to quick resolution of changes Good exposure to infrastructure technologies Strong communication skills, ability to establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with team members Experience in preparing technical design documentation If my requirement matches your resume, then please reply to my email id alih(at)usmsystems(dot)com and contact number 703-955-3955. #J-18808-Ljbffr
