Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. The Sentinel Digital Ecosystem Segment Lead Systems Engineers act as main technical leads within the DE SEIT. Responsibilities include working with other Lead Systems Engineers, the Chief Engineer, and product teams to drive engineering execution, evolve model-based engineering practices, solve complex technical problems, and develop talent. A successful Lead SE will collaborate with other engineers within and across product teams to drive successful product definition and sell-off. The Lead SE will be responsible for engaging customers and senior leadership to solicit requirements and inform on the technical solution. The Lead SE will also be delegate to the DE SEIT Manager, such as representing the DE SEIT for DERB. The ideal candidate has exemplar systems engineering and/or model-based engineering experience. The ideal candidate has experience with performing systems engineering for software-centric systems and/or familiarity with complex systems lifecycle management. This role can be located in Huntsville, Alabama, Roy, Utah or Colorado Springs, Colorado and may offer a competitive relocation package. Responsibilities

Lead technical activities within the Sentinel Digital Ecosystem and collaborate with engineers across product teams to drive engineering execution and product definition. Engage customers and senior leadership to solicit requirements and inform on the technical solution. Represent the DE SEIT for DERB as needed and act as a delegate to the DE SEIT Manager. Develop talent and evolve model-based engineering practices; apply MBSE to software-centric systems and complex lifecycles. Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience, or a Masters Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of relevant experience Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (?6 years), with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time Systems engineering experience throughout the program lifecycle Demonstrated experience in MBSE both performing and leading teams Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with collaboration across internal and external stakeholders Conflict management and negotiation skills; ability to make tough decisions Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) across all levels; strong partnership/collaboration skills Experience managing technical teams Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with cross-tool and cross-environment digital engineering data migration/synchronization Experience managing software internal teams or subcontract teams in the development of digital engineering capabilities Experience with program adoption of digital engineering concepts, methods, and processes Experience with Project Lifecycle Management, manufacturing, sustainment Position Benefits

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation package. Salary range: Primary Level Salary Range:

$118,600.00 - $178,000.00 . The above salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses may be paid; long-term incentives may apply for VP/Director levels.
