CDL Driver

Primary Responsibilities: Transport finished goods to customers Complete a daily safety inspection on truck Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Check products for defects and accuracy to ensure quality control Stack products on pallets and stretch wrap to prevent damage to product in transit Load product on trailers Complete general and year-end inventory procedures Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Trucking school diploma Valid truck driving license Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED required Class A driver's license in good standing No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years Physical Demands

Ability to lift to 50 Lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and walking Ability to work in an outdoor environment and weather.
