Position Summary The Non-Sterile Training Specialist plays a pivotal role in fostering team excellence by developing and implementing training programs that ensure compliance and enhance employee performance. This position supports Empower's mission by equipping team members with the skills and knowledge to produce innovative, affordable medications that improve lives. Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and implements training programs for compounding and supporting departments, including onboarding new hires, creating individual coaching plans, and conducting training for new and existing team members. Creates training materials, tools, and new learning programs, ensuring they align with Empower Pharmacy's goals and support employee growth and development across the organization. Maintains accurate training records in compliance with state and federal requirements, assigns learners to classroom and Learning Management System (LMS) courses, and updates the knowledge database as needed. Collaborates with departmental leadership to identify performance improvement opportunities, ensures ongoing compliance, and supports employee career path development within the company. Researches new learning opportunities, contributes to maintaining the knowledge database, and assists the Training team as needed to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, solve problems, manage conflict, and provide constructive feedback while fostering trust and collaboration among teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce Customer Relationship Management, Office 365, and Adobe Creative Cloud, with knowledge of instructional design and a willingness to learn and adapt innovative training approaches.

Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in training required. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Pharmacy, or a related field or equivalent experience in training and development within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment. Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Pharmacy Technician Certification required, with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) registration and Intravenous (IV) Certification highly preferred; relevant certifications in instructional design or LMS are also preferred.
