Responsibilities
Responsible for the evaluation, underwriting, recommendation, and origination of new investment opportunities Develop and maintain relationships with developers, property owners, and other third-party origination sources Originate, structure, and close CRE financing transactions, including permanent, bridge, and construction loans Define key transaction risks and propose appropriate structures to mitigate defined risks Draft, structure, and negotiate term sheets Prepare recommendations, credit memos, and presentations to Investment Committee Manage the closing and documentation process with minimal oversight Perform property visits and meet with borrowers and/or partners Work with asset management team from origination to disposition Qualifications
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant degree 7+ years proven track record in originating, underwriting, and structuring CRE debt transactions Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Excel, ARGUS plus Seniority level
