Omni Associate Merchant Beach and Home

The Omni Associate Merchant Beach and Home is responsible for assisting in meeting business objectives and sales targets. This role supports the Omni Merchandising Manager in the management of the divisional growth and product assortments for both eCommerce and Retail Stores. This role will partner with the Planning, Inventory, Design, eCommerce, Stores, Visual, Marketing, Imagery and Samples Teams to support the execution of product strategies. Be The Island Guide

Drive the line assortment by pulling and analyzing historical data as well as market trends. Collaborate with the Merchandise Manager and GMM to set pricing for items within assigned categories. Analyze sales and purchases to seasonal budget, understanding company financial targets and monthly performance against those targets. Become the expert in current selling analysis and current fashion trends to minimize changes to the line. Assist with line plan build, seasonal big idea documentation and merchant-owned deliverables on assortment grids. Verify sample needs for marketing and sales departments. Keep merchandising/design sample set in designated area, organized by season. Help prep and obtain samples for seasonal sales meetings. Meet with designers and keep notes on differences between samples and bulk; pass information off to cross-functional departments. Work with Marketing and Creative teams on samples for shoots. Run weekly merchandising reports every Monday morning and deliver reports to GMM and Product Development in a timely manner. Update and create still life imagery documents, on-location documentation, and email briefs based on Merchandise Manager's content plan and direction. Works closely with eCommerce Digital Team to ensure execution. Merchandise products within specific categories on the website, manage product rankings, onsite search optimization, and category visibility to maximize sales and improve engagement. Measure and communicate the impact of digital merchandising updates to manager. Partner with cross functional teams to ensure all upcoming products have images, copy, and pricing. Manage shot lists, styling notes, and image assets to support product detail pages. Submits content requests for website and email in partnership with manager and digital merchant partners. A "Student of the Market and a Voice of the Guest". Brings knowledge and curiosity of our target guest. Strives to understand our guest through analysis and product reviews. Provides weekly, monthly and seasonal analysis of Home business. Utilize analytics tools for both online and offline to gather actionable insights. Partner with Merchandise Manager in developing store cluster assignments based on sales volume, capacity, climate and guest attributes. Manage features and benefits information from designers and ensure it is accurately updated; pass off seasonal features and benefits to cross-functional teams. Assist in reviewing sales information and developing action points for improvements that will drive sales. Executes documentation of labeling products as Core/Fashion and assigning exit dates. Attends licensee partner business meetings, provide data needed to share business insights. Create documentation and gather relevant information to communicate product knowledge to Store Field Members, Guest Services, Creative & Marketing Essentials For Life In Paradise

3+ years experience as an assistant buyer or digital merchandiser for an Omni-Channel retail operation. Retail store experience preferred. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities and knowledge of both retail and eCommerce KPIs. Strong computer skills; including Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Analytics Tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate concepts to merchandising & planning teams, design & production teams, creative team, marketing team and imagery team. Detail oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized. Ability to stay current with trends with a keen eye for fashion and a strong attention to detail. Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast past environment. Rate Range: $78,000.00 to $96,300.00 annual Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
