Pay Information $2,128 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Ability to care for COVID patients Description: Schedule requirements include night shifts of 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with weekends as needed, likely every other weekend. Candidates will go through a clinical review process to determine clinical fit. If candidates pass the clinical review and meet guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Candidates will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays, with no time off requests between Christmas and New Year's. Nurses will float to all medical surgical floors. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Candidates may need to manage acute and chronic health conditions including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illnesses, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic cases, end-of-life care, COPD, and sepsis. The unit occasionally cares for stable open-heart surgery patients transferred from ICU generally on day 4 or 5 post-operation. Nurses will be supported by interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, pharmacy, and social services. The daily census ranges from 25 to 30 patients, with a patient ratio of 5 to 6.
