Director of Outpatient Services Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility offering inpatient and outpatient services, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults and older adults. The facility provides co-occurring behavioral health and substance use programing with a robust outpatient program utilizing group, family and individual therapy. Position Summary: The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the clinical oversight of all outpatient therapy services. The Director manages outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinates caseloads, develops and manages the outpatient staff, and markets the program. The goal is to maximize referral potential from assigned accounts and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development system. Education:

Masters Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work or counseling. Experience:

Five (5) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility. Licensure:

Current LPC or LMSW (fully licensed by the State of Michigan). Additional Requirements:

Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies regulations, patient rights standards, and all applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities. CPR and CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services. Work Hours : Day shift. Must be available to work rotating weekends.
