SUMMARY The Substation Electrican I will report directly to the Substation Superintendent and will play an integral role in supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of substation systems and equipment. This is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on training and the opportunity to learn all aspects of substation operations. The role will involve assisting with the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. As part of the on-the-job training, the Substation Electrician I will develop skills in working with transformers, circuit breakers, switches, relays, and other substation components. The position is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience and advance their careers in the electrical power industry. This position reports to the Substation Superintendent, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is field-based traveling to jobsites and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 100%. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety Compliance and Program Participation:

Ability to concentrate on learning safety procedures. Participate in safety-related processes, programs, and training. Engage with the work team to ensure zero injuries and report all safety hazards, accidents, or near misses.

Installation and Maintenance:

Learn the installation process and proper maintenance techniques for HV and LV equipment within substations. Examples:

Breakers Switches Bus Transformers Capacitor Banks

Learn the necessary skills of reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and construction drawings.

Machinery Operation and Site Preparation:

Assist in excavation, backfilling, and site preparation for substations. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.

Job Site Management and Communication:

Maintain cleanliness of the job site and equipment. Report deficiencies or issues to supervisory staff promptly. Work effectively with other crew members to ensure smooth operations on-site. Follow all safety procedures when working around energized equipment. Regular attendance, in accordance with the company's attendance policy and supervisory

assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position. Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2 years of recent electrician experience as a Substation helper or equivalent. Diploma/certificate from High School, GED, or Line School. Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Class A CDL. Safety certifications (e.g., flagger training, OSHA certifications) are a plus. EXAMPLES OF PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc. Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.) Able to walk or move continuosly while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.) Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.
