This Position reports to: Regional and Local Division SCM Manager As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Auburn Hills, MI. Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements. Main Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing supply chain data and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Support vendor performance delivery KPIs by tracking on time delivery indicators. Collaborate with SCM procurement team on identification of savings in support of project execution business targets. Support inventory management efforts by tracking stock levels, and assisting with replenishment strategies. Help prepare reports and presentations for management review. Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance supply-chain efficiency. Engage in team meetings and contribute ideas for optimizing supply chain operations. Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the supply chain team. Qualifications for the Role

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions. Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
