Job Description

C.T. Male Associates, a multi-discipline engineering, environmental, surveying, and architectural firm in the Northeast, is seeking an Asbestos Project Monitor to join our Latham, NY office to oversee a variety of environmental remediation projects, including asbestos, mold, and lead.

What You'll Do: Collect air samples. Provide oversight to monitor regulatory compliance. Interface with abatement contractor supervisors, foremen, and New York State inspectors. Enhance quality assurance and control measures associated with construction, demolition, or renovation of spaces. Ensure success of projects through attentiveness to proper site documentation and equipment organization. Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Be a minimum of eighteen (18) years old. High school diploma or equivalency degree or higher. Able to read and write English. Able to solve basic math problems. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Able to travel routinely and possess reliable transportation capable of transporting monitoring equipment (sampling pumps, power cords, etc.). Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in asbestos-related projects or environmental sites assessments. Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional Details:

Shifts are typically eight (8) hours a day, between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M-F with extended shift hours (i.e., overtime, overnight, weekends, holidays) occasionally available depending on project deadlines. Projects may include working outdoors, within attics, crawlspaces, boiler rooms, and working at elevated heights (i.e., climbing ladders, scaffolding, and utilizing lifts).
