We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist who is ready to travel to various client sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers and ensuring that all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time. This role involves collecting specimens through various methods such as butterfly, venipuncture, and finger stick, as well as disposing of blood or biohazard fluids safely.
Responsibilities
Enter patient specimen, insurance, or billing information into the computer with attention to detail.
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
Package specimens for transport, storing samples according to required temperatures.
Place samples in appropriate collection containers or tubes and accurately label them.
Follow procedures specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain the integrity of the specimen.
Demonstrate proficiency in proper collection methods and processing of all specimens.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in phlebotomy
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Phlebotomy Certification is preferred
Customer service skills

Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic is preferred
Work Environment
The position requires traveling to different sites for coverage, with the possibility of working at the same clinic for a week if someone is on vacation. Travel between sites will not occur on the same day. Each site may vary; some are located in doctor's offices while others are at walk-in centers. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
