Job Description: About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled
Java AWS Tech Lead
to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications on the cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered following best practices in architecture, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and code quality. Act as a hands-on contributor in design, coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
Solution Architecture & Development:
Design scalable, secure, and performant solutions leveraging
Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services . Own end-to-end solution delivery, including architecture, development, integration, and deployment. Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
Cloud Expertise:
Drive cloud-first initiatives by architecting and migrating applications to AWS. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Work with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure alignment with business requirements. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and recommend technical solutions to meet business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience:
8+ years in software development with at least 2+ years in a technical lead role. Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in
Java (8+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices architecture . Hands-on experience with
AWS cloud services
(EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB). Proficiency with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline),
Containerization
(Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with
Relational & NoSQL Databases
(PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB). Solid understanding of
security best practices
(OAuth2, IAM policies, encryption).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer (Associate/Professional). Experience with Event-Driven Architectures (SNS, SQS, Kafka). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
