Mid-Senior Level Procurement Administrator
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Mid-Senior level Procurement Administrator to support our Connected Care Integrated Network (CCIN) program within our Veterans & Enterprise Technology Solutions (VETS) Sector. This position will be fully remote within the United States. Responsibilities
GovCIO is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated procurement professional who is capable of supporting a variety of complex procurement actions and works without discernable direction while following established guidelines and policies. The Procurement Administrator III will be primarily responsible for: Sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services in support of a large program prime contract and other programs as assigned. Operating and communicating effectively in a team environment, collaborating and coordinating with all stakeholders. Serving as a liaison for Program Operations to coordinate and align procurement activities with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Implementing procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Analyzing information to keep apprised of updates on commercial practices, price trends, manufacturing processes and identifying opportunities to leverage material acquisitions. Participating, as required, in the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. Monitoring and selecting suppliers based on past performance and other relevant evaluation factors. Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing services, equipment and supplies to meet company requirements. Negotiating with suppliers and analyzing suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine best value consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Aptitude to solve problems and develop technical solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity and creativity. Ability to perform within an approved CPSR environment, in accordance with company Procurement Processes and Procedures, while completing Purchase Order/file documentation, to include source documentation, Request for Proposal, negotiations, terms and conditions, Statement of Work, required flow down clauses and price analysis. Processing Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order for authorized commitments in Deltek Costpoint. Maintaining detailed records of goods and services ordered and received. Tracking deliverables and following up with vendors on delinquent deliveries. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 8 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. 4+ years of experience in US Government procurement. Solid knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and other agency specific regulations and policies. Experience complying with Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSRs) policies and procedures. Experience in procuring materials and goods with particular emphasis on negotiation, purchase order administration, and contractor/vendor performance management. Knowledge of federal procurements as well as an adequate grasp of negotiation techniques. Responsible for self-management and awareness. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Effective writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Drive organizational efficiencies and savings to the business. Skills: Good business acumen, and sound organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a high pace environment supporting multiple internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for self-management and awareness. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Effective writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
