Job Summary
The Sr Business Analyst – RightAngle CTRM will serve as the bridge between the business stakeholders and technical teams focusing on optimizing our commodity trading operations through effective use of the RightAngle platform.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to enhance our commodity trading operations using RightAngle
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for RightAngle implementation and customization
Design, implement, and optimize RightAngle workflows to support front, middle, and back-office trading activities
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure RightAngle configurations meet business needs
Lead requirements gathering sessions with traders, risk managers, and operations teams
Provide training and support to end users on RightAngle functionality
Collaborate with IT teams on RightAngle upgrades, integrations, and customizations
Create and maintain documentation for RightAngle processes and configurations
Evaluate and recommend RightAngle modules to address evolving business needs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-
Strong understanding of commodity trading processes across physical and financial commodities
Knowledge of trade lifecycle management, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of RightAngle's Risk Analytics, Hedge Accounting, or Credit modules
Familiarity with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages used to extend RightAngle
Understanding of commodity market fundamentals and trading strategies
Education and Experience-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience with RightAngle CTRM software
Experience with RightAngle reporting tools and data extraction methods
Experience with RightAngle API integration and custom development
Experience in oil, gas, power, or agricultural commodities trading environments
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience
