is seeking a skilled and compassionate
Occupational Therapist (OT)
to provide outpatient rehabilitation services. This role focuses on helping patients regain independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve their functional goals through personalized therapy interventions.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' functional abilities, medical history, and therapy needs in an outpatient setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical assessments. Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve mobility, strength, and daily function. Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care. Document evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge plans accurately and in compliance with regulations. Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment while promoting patient engagement. Participate in continuing education and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy. Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree
in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure
as an Occupational Therapist required. Certification by NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required. Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting preferred. Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and functional rehabilitation strategies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Benefits
