Title: Project Specialist II Location: Swiftwater, PA Pay range: $38/ hr - 41/ hr Type: 6 months contract, can be extended if needed Seeking a highly skilled, and motivated professional candidate for a strategic role interfacing between Biologics Manufacturing and cross-functional support teams, focusing on systems optimization and operational excellence. The position combines manufacturing expertise with business process management to drive efficiency and quality outcomes. Serve as primary liaison between Biologics Manufacturing and support functions including Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance Manage manufacturing business systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency Support capacity planning and material flow scheduling across manufacturing facilities Drive cost optimization initiatives and maintain performance metrics dashboards Provide direct strategic support to Executive Leadership Team for budgeting and program planning Participate in key management committees and supply review processes Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations Investigate and correct safety standard deviations Support cGMP compliance and participate in new team member training Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations Investigate and correct safety standard deviations Support cGMP compliance and participate in new team member training Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations Investigate and correct safety standard deviations Support cGMP compliance and participate in new team member training Required Qualifications BS/BA and 5-7 years experience preferred OR equivalent 5+ years direct cGMP Shop Floor/Manufacturing experience. Will accept technical BS with proven business management/analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and oral presentation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of SAP/Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, scheduling, and data analysis. Must have robust problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a bias towards going to see problems for oneself in the field. Must have ability to analyze an issue from diverse perspectives (safety, compliance, maintenance, automation, equipment, process, and people) in order to best understand and resolve it. Must have strong desire to succeed and to help others to do the same. Must be enthusiastic, confident, and self-starters, with a passion for continuous learning. Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal. Strong self-driven work ethic with communication and time management skills. Commitment to personal and professional development by completing and giving training as well as leadership. Strong leadership and technical/expertise skills required to lead in a customer focused business systems environment. Able to communicate and cooperate transversally within and outside the biologics manufacturing boundaries. Able to serve as change agent and think strategically to drive business to next level. Ability to function independently and act as voice of the biologics team. Preferred Qualifications: Education in biology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, biological systems engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, integrated science, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, physics. Strong personal motivation for coming to work for an organization that saves & improves lives. Interest in a diverse career at an active, dynamic manufacturing campus. Relevant experience in manufacturing, military, engineering, or science. Power bi- advanced at creating Snowflake- possible knowledge of system and how to access data Excel- advanced knowledge of creating and running formulas.
