The Office of Admissions is seeking an Admissions Recruiter to assist in recruitment and admissions functions under the direction of the Associate Director, Admissions Recruitment & Outreach. This role is part of the Admissions Events Team and supports small- and large-scale recruitment event planning, mobilization of campus units and vendors, relationship management with campus partners, and promoting a university-wide recruitment mindset. This position also provides support for the Welcome Center staff and campus tour guides, uses data to inform recruitment and outreach decisions, and may require occasional local and statewide travel for events. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in recruiting, academic advising, counseling, student services, customer service or related experience, or substitution of education for experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong presentation skills and problem solving skills. Developed interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Experience with Microsoft Office products. Ability to obtain credit card for travel. Good driving record and access to a vehicle. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Professional in appearance, motivated, self-directed and able to communicate enthusiastically with diverse populations in a positive, courteous and professional manner. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a college or university setting. Required License/Registration/Certifications

Maintain collaborative relationships with campus partners and other Admissions personnel in service of university recruitment goals and initiatives. Collaborate with fellow Visitor Experience staff to support Welcome Center operational needs. Participate in the design, organization, execution, and evaluation of large and small scale recruitment events hosted on and off campus for diverse student populations under the direction of the Associate Director. Demonstrate high level professionalism and customer service excellence with recruitment event attendees, campus visitors, admissions staff, cross campus partners, and vendors. Seek growth opportunities beyond assigned areas through professional development, graduate school, continued education, or other self-assigned learning. Complete expected duties in a timely manner, without constant supervision, accept responsibility for own work, and follow through on commitments. Complete assigned trainings and other administrative requirements punctually and follow procedures for timekeeping, absences, and attendance.
