Overview
BerryDunn is seeking an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System Implementation Project Manager to join our Local Government Practice Group within our Consulting Team. You will serve as our clients Project Manager, working with client and vendor teams as they implement asset management and work order software systems across multiple departments. This position is planned to remotely serve our clients located on the west coast. You will report to senior leaders in the Local Government Practice Group. You will bring a mix of demonstrated project management capabilities, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience in one or more of the following areas: local government business processes, enterprise software systems, implementation project management, or business process analysis will make you a trusted advisor to our local government clients. Experience with organizational change management is a plus. Travel expectations: Regular in-person presence at a client site is needed. Up to 50% travel to client sites is anticipated. Responsibilities Jointly lead a delivery team consisting of internal business SMEs, IT personnel, client stakeholders and an external integrators technical professionals Lead and support the delivery of services to clients on time, within scope, and within budget, including assigning and managing staff to create client deliverables Navigate and document decision making processes on behalf of our clients within the projects established governance structure Coordinate task assignments to internal and client teams based on alignment to project plan Communicate project and delivery status to our clients, team members, and other stakeholders, including the facilitation of client meetings Participate in marketing and business development activities, including writing blog posts, attending industry conferences and participating in industry groups, leading or participating in prospective client business development meetings, and reviewing RFPs and developing responses to RFPs in collaboration with our proposal writing team
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Computer Science, Public Administration or a related field. 5 or more years experience working with state or local government in one or more of the following areas: asset management planning, work order and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) implementations, implementation project management, or business process analysis. Experience implementing EAM systems such as CentralSquare (Lucity), Cityworks, Hexagon, IBM Maximo, Infor, KloudGin, NEXGEN, OpenGov (Cartegraph), Oracle, Vueworks. Advanced degree preferred along with a current project management certification (PMP or CAPM) or organizational change management certification. Consulting experience in a national or regional consulting firm on assignments with public sector clients, relevant independent consulting experience, or prior employment with a software vendor or system integrator in requirements gathering and software testing. Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills.
Compensation Details
The base salary range targeted for this role is $80,000 - $130,000. This salary range represents BerryDunns good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
