To provide clerical support as needed and manage support services in order to enhance the effectiveness of personnel, promote the overall efficiency of the campus, and maximize the educational opportunities available to each student. To provide animated hospitality to all customers, guests, students, staff, and stakeholders of the Fairfield Community School District; to be brand ambassadors and ensure that all stakeholders have an invitational experience.

HIRING SPECIFICATIONS (HS1-17):
Medication Administration Organizational management and office work as needed and necessary for the essential and effective operation of the office/campus Providing administrative support to the school leadership Answering emails, telephones, messages, and directing calls Distribute and provide needed materials and support to campus staff as needed and necessary Delegate and distribute duties as needed and necessary Prepare student and faculty records Coordination in distributing materials and supplies Prepare and support assigned special projects by leadership Copy and provide student records as needed Assist in the orderly operation of any assigned school office as needed and necessary Provide animated hospitality to all guests and customers to ensure a highly effective first/last impression; ambassadors of the school district vision/mission/values and brand Duties as assigned Represent the Fairfield Community School District effectively in the community, state and nation. Assist the nurse in the following: Administer nursing care to students who are ill, disabled, or convalescent as need requires Develop, collaborate, and implement student health plans Advise students and families on health related issues and concerns as needed and appropriate Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effect Record patients' medical information and vital signs Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Consult and coordinate with educational team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions Collaborate with IEP and general education teams to develop appropriate health plans as needed and appropriate Provide direct response to student health needs as requested by staff and Administration Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and develop health improvement programs
ABILITIES (A1): This position will require physical demands that include constant standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, lifting under 70 pounds, and carrying items at least 35 feet. There will be frequent climbing of stairs and manual dexterity tasks. There will be occasional sitting and driving. The working conditions will be constantly inside/outside with extremes of temperature and humidity.
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION (KE1-2 and KED1-3): Required: High School Diploma or GED Eighteen (18) years of age or older Meet requirements for trainings/screenings and professional learnings set by the district and State of Iowa Meet or exceed pre-employment evaluation
Desired: Successful work or volunteer experience with students and children Supervisory experience with school age children Experience working in in a clerical/administrative assignment
Desired: RN, BSN, MSN, or ARNP Experience working in a culturally diverse setting
