Collins Aerospace is currently seeking student engineers for our Military Landing Gear organization located near Fort Worth, TX. Teams are comprised of cross-functional engineers working in an agile environment focused on the design and development of landing gear products. Team culture is extremely collaborative and engaged; we value our customer, our products, and our people (that means you). Gain experience supporting our portfolio of military aircraft includes F-35, T-7A, C-17 and more, fielded on thousands of aircraft today, at this moment. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester); it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity. What You Will Do: Work with other Design Engineer's to develop and incorporate changes Participate in investigations and root cause development Support generation and review of Supplier Data Items Have a working knowledge of 3D design software (Catia V5 an asset) Proactive self starter, capable of learning new concepts and software quickly Qualifications You Must Have: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. Qualifications We Prefer: Pursuing a Mechanical Engineer degree, Aerospace Engineer degree or equivalent.
