OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Deburring and Welding Lead who will be responsible for overseeing deburring and welding operations to ensure that all machined parts meet quality and finish specifications before moving to the next stage of production. This position leads a team of deburring technicians, coordinates workflow, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, leadership experience, and a keen eye for detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the deburring and welding team to meet production schedules and quality standards Train, mentor, and evaluate deburring technicians to ensure consistency and competency in deburring techniques Inspect parts and processes to verify conformance to finishing specifications and identify opportunities for improvement Assist with hands-on deburring of complex or critical parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized finishing equipment Communicate with machining, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow Maintain accurate records of work performed, including part counts, inspection logs, and equipment usage Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies Monitor and maintain deburring tools and equipment, requesting repairs or replacements as needed Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency Support 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives within the department Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of deburring or finishing experience in a manufacturing environment Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Effective communication and team leadership skills EDUCATION
