We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Civil Engineer

with a strong background in

grading design, stormwater management, sanitary sewer systems, erosion control, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling

. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design and prepare civil engineering plans and reports for site development projects including grading, drainage, stormwater management, sanitary sewer systems, and erosion control. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, SWMM, Civil 3D). Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies. Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) and erosion/sediment control plans. Coordinate with project managers, regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met on schedule and within budget. Assist in permitting processes and support clients through regulatory review cycles. Interpret and apply relevant municipal, state, and federal codes and standards (e.g., EPA, FEMA, local drainage manuals). Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality assurance and peer reviews. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Masters preferred). PE preferred but will consider an EIT 610 years of experience in site/civil engineering, with specific expertise in: Grading and earthwork design Stormwater design and modeling Sanitary sewer design Erosion and sediment control Hydrology/hydraulics Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant hydrology software (e.g., HydroCAD, StormCAD, InfoWorks). Strong technical writing and communication skills. Familiarity with environmental permitting processes (e.g., NPDES, MS4).
