To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. Responsibilities
Maintain all refrigeration equipment in the building. Maintain all HVAC equipment in the building (guestrooms, public areas, function rooms). Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary. Work on other equipment as needed. Maintain inventory and order HVAC supplies. Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS). Maintain and protect guest room equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes. Assist mechanics and other engineers with all repairs as needed. Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. Understand Omni Hotel rules and regulations. Deliver 5-Diamond service standards such as: Uniformed with name badges, in harmony with the property theme. Knowledgeable about the property and surrounding areas. Polite and professional at all times. Greet guests graciously and maintain eye contact. Take responsibility for guest inquiries and problems. Use guest's name frequently. Qualifications
Must have HVAC License. Must have three or more years of HVAC experience, preferably in a hotel environment. Ability and desire to learn new skills and repairs. Strong communication and writing skills required. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office & Excel, with ability to learn other engineering programs. Organized and mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn building mechanics. Understanding of problem-solving with minimal guest, associate, or client disruption. Professional interaction with guests, associates, and clients. Prior guest service experience, preferably in hotels. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
