Open Enrollment & Benefits Specialist
Location: Overland Park, KS Job details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Compensation: $20-25 per hour Job Type: Contract to Hire Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the annual open enrollment process, including communications, system setup, and employee support. Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions, providing timely and accurate information. Assist employees with benefits elections, changes, and troubleshooting issues with the benefits platform. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of benefits programs. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., ACA, HIPAA, COBRA). Conduct benefits orientations for new hires and support onboarding processes. Analyze benefits data and trends to recommend improvements or changes. Requirements
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR support, especially during open enrollment. Strong knowledge of health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans. Familiarity with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Job Details
