Systems Integration and Test Engineering Intern

As the Systems Integration and Test Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the development, integration, and test of one of many Lockheed Martin systems and subsystems. Your responsibilities could include in any of the below: Develop and execute Sub-System/System Level Integration Procedures Support preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events Perform Environmental Acceptance Test and Acceptance Test Procedures Perform qualification testing at the subsystem and system level Support test readiness preparation and test readiness reviews Support test documentation and Computer Aided Designs, as required Environmental labs testing, instrumentation, and analysis Fabrication of composites and hardware Flight Termination Systems Telemetry In-circuit test designs, testing, and analysis Simulations Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) Verification and validation of sub-systems and systems Why Join Us: We're looking for a highly motivated Sophomore, Junior or Senior college student to join our team. If you are working towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar STEM related field, we encourage you to apply. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, and have a basic understanding of electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills. Basic Qualifications: Working towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar STEM related field Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Desired Skills: General understanding of test equipment such as Digital Multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and computer operating systems Software application experiences like Siemens Xpedition tools, MathCad, MatLab, Python, CREO, Zuken, LabView, and other engineering tools. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
