Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment in assigned facilities. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property which includes interior and exterior areas, walls/flooring, installed fixtures, lighting, etc. What your day-to-day will look like: Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance and repair work orders for all facility systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building components while analyzing system operations to identify problems and implement corrective solutions. Install and replace building materials such as ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, and floor coverings while handling minor plumbing repairs including drain clearing and leak repairs. Inspect and repair damaged surfaces including plaster, drywall, water-damaged areas, and wall or ceiling cracks to maintain facility integrity and appearance. Complete specialized maintenance tasks including painting, pressure washing, tenant service requests, special cleaning projects, and general facility upkeep as assigned by management. Conduct thorough facility inspections and due diligence assessments while documenting as-found conditions and assisting operations teams with building and equipment maintenance needs. Perform general interior maintenance duties such as hanging pictures, installing office accessories, repairing furniture systems, and recognizing safety hazards with proposed elimination methods. Support after-hours building operations as required while ensuring work efficiency with minimal disruption, maintaining accurate records of time and materials, and preserving a clean and safe working environment. Required Qualifications: Materials, methods and tools used in the operation and repair of building systems. Air compressors and pneumatic controls. Health and safety regulations. Basic record-keeping techniques. Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
