Youll be part of the

People Systems within the People Ops team , a team dedicated to building the future of work at Carta. We design and scale workflows, processes, and systems that support a global workforce, always with an eye on efficiency, data quality, and driving employee performance and experience. This role partners deeply with the broader People Ops team, Total Rewards, HRBPs, Payroll, and Finance to ensure Workday isnt just running, but running brilliantly. Workday People Systems Lead will own global configuration and optimization of Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll functionality in Workday. You will ensure our systems are compliant, efficient, and regionally adapted beginning with the US and expanding across EMEA and LATAM. Youll lead full-cycle implementation, administration, and scaling for timecards, paid time off, leave types, overtime rules, and payroll input workflows that ensure pay is timely, accurate, and legally compliant. About You

8+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience Strong domain expertise in Workday Benefits, Advanced Compensation and Talent setup Familiar with Benefit integrations Proven experience designing Benefits, Advanced Compensation and Talent programs across multiple legal entities Detail-oriented with a systems-focused mindset always thinking about edge cases and risk Nice to Have:

Our minimum cash compensation (salary) range for this role is: $161,500 - $190,000 in New York and San Francisco.
